I don't really see where I get off calling it an "Atmospheric Test," but
it does look okay. It's sorta dark and eerie, but then again, so is
quake. It's just a test- don't condemn it badly- it's my first real try
with media.

I like! I did a logo for Quake II a little while ago (it kind of sucked)
but I don't think I have it now...

While your image is only a test, I still feel compelled to nitpick a little.
:) First off, (using my Quake CD as reference) the nail looks a bit too
thick. It's slightly thinner than the bottom of the 'U' part of the 'Q'
(confusing enough? ;) ). Also, the head of it should be rounded a bit, the
top of the head being about twice as wide as the spike itself and smoothly
blending down to the shaft of the nail. The head of the nail also goes up a
bit too far. It should be about a quarter way up the 'U'. I can't see the
tip of the nail in your picture, but it looks right (as does the 'U' part).
The media looks great, but you might want to add a few "supporting lights"
to bring the rest of the 'Q' more into view.

Heh, sorry for the serious nitpicking. I really can't help it -- nitpicking
is the reason I don't post many images here anymore. ;)
