Hi,

this is my first attempt to use HDRI. The focal blur is faked because I was
not able to hit the correct focal point, although I tried it again and
again. I used one additional area light.

Comments?

Regards,
Andreas

Hey nice but I'd be reluctant drinking a wiskey so dark.
It is neither Paddy, nor Bushmills, no more Tullamore Dew or is it poteen
;c)?

Marc, it's obvious that Andreas has, very sensibly, drunk the whiskey and
filled the bottle with cold tea before he started the render.

:-))

:-)

No, no! In fact I went to a local Irish Pub and asked for an empty (!!)
bottle, so I was not sure about the color! Then I visited the Bushmills
website. Marc, you're right regarding 10 years old Bushmills but there's a
30 years old wiskey available wich is really very dark - and expensive.
Anyway, I'm working on an improved version incl. caustics.

Thanks & Regards,
Andreas

Neat. I like it. It's a nice image and it looks rather real.

(Not a big whisky drinker - any chance you can render me some Bailey's? Or
even Archers?)

Andrew.
