Very nice, the shape of the higher rocks is very good, at the water line
it is somewhat steep.

I know that feeling - but i would try to render it in larger size on
occasion.

A dark seam on the rock where the water splashes
would add even more realism here.

I have made a quick test - this is far from being comparable to the
original but i think it shows it is not impossible (although in this
particular case a mesh based approach could be easier).

The pattern used for the cracks is:

crackle
metric 1
form <0.8,0,0>

Hi Chris

My results are similar and use similar code - getting the extra refinement
though is the hard part!

Actually, after a quick check I see that I havn't used metric, maybe that's
the key - thanks for the suggestion Chris :-)

Beautiful, as usual <g>. How's the rock done? Isosurface?

Thanks

 How's the rock done? Isosurface?

Yes I've posted the code.

Much appreciated, but, umm, where is it?

Very nice,

I've been trying to do something similar for a while but with little
success. Would you be able to post the isosurface code for this image
?

Cheers
Rob
