The flattened look and the foreshortening effect are controllable to some
extent. This wasn't perhaps the best example to post. I was just eager to share.

I've just posted the source to p.b.s-f along with some recommendations for use.
I think increasing the dpi variable will do what you want, and yeah, that
affects max depth.

Thanks for posting the depth map. I was able to see
the objects clearly :-)

I agree with Slime, also the floor looked curved to me,
like it was a cylinder. That illusion may also be due to
the stretched depth map gradient, ie. too much white
in the foreground.

(1-31-03) QuadHall requested exactly what you have
