Looks really great! Found in an Agypt tomb? ;)

Excellent work... could quite easily be a photograph. I think that this is down to the
irregularities in the object plus those in the texture normals that make it look less
like a
'perfect' model.

Wow that looks so much like a photo!
The only flaw I can see is the background's more black than could really be
done, maybe just put a few specs of dust on the ground :)

Wonderful job.

So I've search a (real) photo on Google and found it:

http://www.hamillgallery.com/MOSSI/MossiHeads/MossiHead02.JPG

Is it your source ?

Yours looks a little happier than the one in the photo! :-)

Highly impressive... The word "photorealistic" may be a bit over-used these
days, but this image is darn close to real!

Great modelling here, and very photorealistic render.
Why don't you give it a go with MLPov ?
I think it would be cool.

Great work !
I really enjoy African art and it's a real treat (and a rarity) to see it
rendered in 3D !

All I can say is, WOW.

Are those black and white specks necessary? They seem like
the effect of a popular trick used to make something look
more authentic, but your work is already so fantastically
realistic that they just sort of stick out. I would have
viewed the original but hamillgallery.com seems to be down.
Were these specks in the original?

The original shows some pitting, also some light flecks and blemishes
though not quite as stark as in my texturing.
