Hi all.
This is a botijo made with Hamapatch, all parts are
lathe objects (only the handle was modified to take its
actual shape)
Aaron Gillies posted something similar (thread called
"teapot") and I finally have ended doing one.
I was only going to do it to explain its shape,
but I began to play with radiosity settings, and
here is the result.
8 hours and 11 minutes to render this image
in an AthlonXP 1700 Mhz 525 Mb DDR Ram
(15 minutes for modelling).
I also have posted the commented povray files and
the hamapatch file to p.b.s-f. (thread called "botijo")
Hope you like it.
Bye.

Aha! So that is a botijo! :)

Nice modelling job, by the way. I think I might be
inspired to put a botijo in the still life that I
am working on now. :)

Do it if you like, this is an absolute free object ;-)
Only condition is that you show us the result.

This strange sphere needs more reflection finish, and a little of phong.

Thanks for your kind comments ;-).
I've followed your instructions (used specular instead of phong)
and maybe this is what you were looking for.
Bye.

Now, that's more like it! What's the point af having a checkered plane,
if you don't get any distorded reflections ;)
