First glance made me think of a cobra.

I do like these abstract type forms and the texture.

Actually, I was going to collect some interesting shapes
and put them on the web page along with POV SDL source code.

As far as I can see, they have attracted a bit of attention,
so maybe some of them will be available sooner.

Thanks, I'll be watching for the link on p.t.s-f.. I would like
