Isn't the evil one supposed to have a giant dark ship whereas our hero
sits in a beautiful shiny tiny ship?

When I saw the image all I could say is "Woooo". Those are great, I can't wait
to see them in the "Space Fight II, The Textured".

Heh, I *was* worried that it was too flat as I was making it, so I put those
two spikes coming out of the top. But from some angles, this thing looks
really scary. Mainly from behind.

I considered that, but I didn't want to be *too* cliche about this. The
green-yellowish pattern was inspired by some ships in Babylon 5, or at least
by the way I remember those ships. It seemed evil without being an obvious
evil color.

Thanks =) I'm actually working on the explosions now, the final step in the
graphics (until I add new things like a planet and/or a mothership, etc)...

That would make for a really sweet animation: evil ships fly in V formation
toward carier, good ships launch from carrier to intercept! I didn't
really like the "football (US) starting lineup" of the original animations.

I was worried about whether I should have added some smileys. Apparently
you didn't get my comment wrong.

I think you're refering to the Vorlon ships, they're the closest ships in my
memory that came close to green-yellowish.
