This is a slightly modified version of the truncated icosahedron I've
posted to p.b.s-f.  I simply moved the centre of each polygon outwards.
Presumably if I had picked exactly the right amount to move them by, the
shape would be an icosahedron?

Oh, and it uses radiosity, photons and focal_blur, and took about 3
hours on a P200.
