Just finished a large (1600 * 1200) render of my narnia image (12d 13h 28m).

It shows the detail on Gilles' lampost nicely.

My longest render ever (iirc).

At 800*600 it took 1.75 days approx, so 1600*1200 should have taken 8 days
approx. (and that's being pessimistic). I was using a different 3.5 beta, plus
low-priority during the day.

The near ground is a hf partly done in PSP and partly in Leveller (not for any
good reason - it started out in PSP as I didn't have leveller at that time). The
far ground is a iso-surface. The full code is avail. at www.tomandlu.co.uk as
well as the irtc.
