Find info about the Prthenon on the web. I have a book on Athens
with prints for the temple on my desk, but no way to get it to
you.

Hi Christoph Hormann, you recently wrote in povray.binaries.images:

No, they're not, they're CSG. I call superellipsoids by their proper
name....

Which is why I didn't do that....

I don't know what are your intentions with this image, but
I must tell you that it is not architecturally correct.
In particular, you can't put arches over greek columns.
If you're after a greek theme, you must work with straight
beams, following the wood metaphor in greek architecture
(columns are trunks, beams are straight wooden beams).

Fabien.

Nope... no theme... just slapped it together for fun.... I might look into
doing a more "accurate" version in the future...

Lol
sometimes one begins an image just for the fun and posts it and gets a lot
of advices which lead him far beyond his initial target :)

Well, maybe accuracy isn't the goal to pursue, but being more
"logical" will lead to a better harmony of shapes.

Fabien.
