Incredible once again (as always).
C'mon Chris; let us know the secret. ;-)

Very nice Chris. Some are saying that the clouds have sharp edges, I
would agree. The thing is, I've seen those sharp edges on clouds just
like that on a hot Summers day here in the UK, <rarely now, but true>,
maybe not so many of them together though...

I think that you're using the sky_sphere as the 'main' guilty party
in this image? But something puts me off that because there seems to be
a lot of uniformity at the base of the clouds.

     Perhaps two great ideas together?

I think you've cracked it with this, and if I'm not close, then this
is why I really like PoV.

I agree, but would that be a quick render?

Simen.

Meshes seem to render much faster than other methods of making cloudlike shapes.

Parsing is another matter, but Chris didn't say that they *parsed*
quickly... ;)

I would say "AWSUM ROLLEX", but somone else already did.
I would say "Post source or die", but someone already did.
I would say "Can you make other types of clouds?" but someone already did.
I would say "How is it done?" but somone already did.

So...

Wow!!!

Would you believe that animation (scene file dated Aug 1999) uses a single
sphere for the clouds, with just a few discs for the sun? I'm still amazed
at how complex an apparently simple POV-Ray texture or two can look.
