I just use trace() to find out where the object under the cloth is (in this
case a POSER figure).

Your hand drawn representation failed to arrive here.

I'm sorry the the picture didn't come through.  Your example though looks
like the same idea.  Can you post any source showing how to do this or
is there a tutorial somewhere?  Thanks!

I'll post my source to text.scene-files, but without the poser figure
(because it's a 3.4 megabyte mesh2).

Just curious...have you tried running it through Warp's Compressed Mesh
program? I wonder if it would go much smaller.
