So the trees are basically conic? This is a very nice looking picture.
What are the structures, stones artifacts?

Cheers!

Yes, I agree, but I think it's more due to the point of view than the
angle. Without any "clear" reference, it takes a moment to understand
the scene. Anyhow, it's very interesting.

Hmm, I rather liked the unusual angle, but for the same reasons that you and
Rick seem to have reservations about it....

That's it :) A forest must look confused and complex in my opinion, but for
those who want another point of view, I'll post the scene from another
angle.

Very nice trees. The scene looks a touch flat, however. This remind me of my
homeless days. I spent many nights sleeping in forested areas around 20th
century "ruins." Most were obvious remnants, but some I am puzzled by to
this day.

Looks good! I'm surprised an HF worked so well for the grass. It could use
some little yellow and blue flowers you get around here(northen California)
when the grass is so young. A hobbit staring up through the trees wouldn't
hurt either :)

Reminds me of the game Settlers, maybe the photo-leaves have something
to do with that.

I can't tell exactly what you're shooting for here, but it's looking
good.
