Thank you! I had to change the gamma to get more realistic lighting
appearance, and I also have modeled a typical Tektronix oscilloscope to put
in- slows the render time a lot, but really sets it off. I got the case
color exactly right on my first stab at it! All is coming together, now I
have to make a stand for the scope.

Cheers!

Here's a quick view of the "set dressing" oscilloscope- it is by no
means detailed, just a rough copy from my old Tek storage scope in the
workshop. It still needs a lot, but it is an okay piece at a distance. It
is inserted in the wormhole scene on a cart and with the handle added. I'll
post that later.

Cheers!

Okay, work is still in progress, but here is the latest render with the
scope stand and the scope, still in need of a few essentials, but this is
getting inspiring. If I am boring you people just let me know...

Cheers!

Isn't that oscilloscope a little too close? Seems like one of those
places that you can't have any metallic objects nearby, and with the
amount of energy being released that close, I wouldn't expect the
oscilloscope to survive. Maybe if it was on the near side of a blast
shield, with the point of view being from an observation room of some
sort.

I'd put more warnings up...laser, high voltage, magnetic fields,
singularities, radiation, etc. Maybe a warning sign about metallic
objects not being allowed, and a stray screwdriver or other tool lying
on the floor with a little bit of an electric glow/corona discharge
around it. ;-)

Nice detail on the scope. The energy field looks a little solid, however.

Okay, good point. I will "soften" it a bit.

Cheers!
