    Hi again... This particular post, since it does not have an image and is
a general question, would be better in the povray.general group.

First, as Bill said, this post is in the wrong place, povray.newusers 
would have been more appropriate. The first thing you should do is read 
the messages in povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions, especially 
the one titled "Welcome To the POV-Ray News Groups". The purpose of each 
group and the general rules for using these groups are explained there. 
You can access them through the Web using:
http://news.povray.org/povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions/

The web interface is also useful for searching the messages to see if 
anyone else has asked similar questions.

As for making a hexagon, this is something fairly well covered in the 
documentation. In fact, the first thing the tutorial does with prisms is 
make a hexagon. It is a good idea to work through the entire tutorial, 
most beginner questions are answered there.
