Version 2

Still need to do the lights and add some water around the fish and
perhaps a subtle normal to the wall.

The fish is a poser model and the pictures in the frames were created
in vue d'espirit

Comments?

Your concept keeps getting better and better.

That said, two comments: the surface of the water (ripples) seems too
regular, and could use some water drops emerging as the fish passes. Also,
did you try ro get parto of the fish tail to be inside the painting? I don't
even know if such is possible, but I believe that the emerging effect would
be improved if such was possible.

Keep up the good work.

And a splash in the water from the fish breaking the surface.
That would add to the effect I think.

Very nice. Definately needs water splashing and if
you can bend the fishes tail it might give it a little
more life.

How about some leaves of one of the trees sticking out too.

The fish jumping out is a great idea, how about a goldfish bowl on top
of that pedestal instead of the fractal, and a small goldfish inside it.

Or a goldfish painting floating just under the surface in the bowl... kinda
like a reverse of roles. yin yang

Shouldn't the fish be in the image on the wall? :-)

thank you

Painting still needs work.

The fish tail is part of the painting. the image that's used in the painting
is attached.
Anything is possible (within reason) it's just a case of how much time you
are
willing to spend. Aligning the fish model with the picture so that it looks
like one
fish took the better part of two days of tweak and render.

It's as bent as I can. The poser model's not very good and
angles larger than I have make it look broken :-<
