This is my first attempt modelling a face in hamaPatch. The fact that it
turned out to be a fish is somewhat cryptic even to myself, but then I
thought about a nice way to use it on a scene. What do you think of the
model so far?

Definitely I like it! :o)) You shouldn't take away the fish / face
mixture, it's a great combination! Very artistic looking. Maybe the tail
could be improved. Annd ... well I know this is a WIP. :o) I find
Hamapatch cumbersome and it crashes often (maybe I have an outdated version
already) and Spatch is difficult too. I rarely get the vertices to create
"faces"... And yes, I read the docs.

Hmmm... the texture uses "birkcs"? Strange...

The modelling is nice, seems very fine for a cartoonish and humorous
scene.

My first attempt at UV-mapping, actually. The bricks are there just for
testing purposes. I've got something else planned for the final texture.

My exact idea, thanks.

Thanks.

I wouldn't think of it. It rather sets the atmosphere for the rest of the
"inhabitants" of my scene, and I just hope the oddness isn't too hard to
keep for what is to come.

Again, thanks.

Oh, I'll WIP it alright. I've got a looooong way to go yet.

The docs didn't help me at all. I got a better perspective of the software
after reading Anto Matkovic's tutorial on modelling human heads. It can be
found at http://matkovic.com/anto/index.html

Oh, I think you misunderstood me, but it was my fault. :o) I was searching
for the proper english word but could only remember "faces".. I didn't mean
a human face but a "triangle face".. I rarely get the vertices in Spatch and
Hamapatch to create a "patch".. To fill out the wireframe with a colour.. I
just can't easily get it to work.. Dull programs.

You have to read the manual or the help file because
anyone can create patches with sPatch or Hamapatch
To get the manuals of sPatch and Hamapatch you can
go here and search for them (there are also some tutorials):
