You Know You've Been Ray-Tracing Too Long When...
(Other YKYB__W (You Know You've Been...When...) variants abound

I didn't model these. This was a texture study. There are teeth there, but they
were welded together when I tried to reduce the polygon count. If I were to
develop this more I would at least load the mesh into Amapi or Anim8or and
assign a different material to the teeth so I could use a different texture to
make them more opaque, like the ones in the real X-rays I have here. ( Don't ask
:) )

POV-Ray on the brain... Actually, that conjures up an awful gory image, this
X-ray I like :-) Maybe this is a vision of a future with ray trace
implants, in which case there's still a little room for a larger enhanced
cyborging logo in there.

As an admirer of your work, that's quite a compliment. Thank you!

Believe it or not, you helped.
> Some wild guesses are media or slope pattern...
Well first I didn't model anything. This was just a texture study, and yes it
was a slope pattern. I used focal blur with 0.5 aperature to create the softness
like I seem to see in real X-rays prints, a fine granite normal to help the blur
hide some mesh deficiencies, and a contrast sphere from your woodcut.pov to
enhance the glow effect (except I just used transmit 2.5) :D
