Hi,

I've added some more details. I'm not satisfied with the textures yet, and
some parts need to be more detailed. I'm also not satisfied with the digits
in the chronographs.
It's really starting to look like my watch, but the measurements are not the
same as my watch, so I have to work on that.

I could use some comments and help, for instance: how can I make the
second-hand (is that right name for it?) turn bright (fluorescent) orange?
(The same goes for the green fluorescent things on the hour and minute
hand).

Thanx,

Bugs74

Do the green parts on the real watch glow in the dark?

Yes, the green parts really glow, but not in the model. Is there any way it
can be done?
And the orange hands (I'm not sure that's the right word for it, my English
vocabulary is not that great) should be a much brighter, almost fluorescent
orange, but I haven't found the right textures for that.

Wouldn't a high ambient do it? This won't cast light on other parts of the watch
(unless you are using radiosity), but I doubt that differs significantly from
the Real World.

Try something like this:
pigment { color rgb <0,10,0> }
This will make it a very bright green.
Or you could set the ambient to 10 or so like this:
finish { ambient 10 }

I tried to multiply the color for orange by numbers, but the color
turned a bright yellow.
