Going thtough some reference photos I had lying around I had one of a pint
of lager and have just had a go recreating it.. not very succesfully.
Anyway any ideas onto improving making it a tad more realistic. It
currently uses caustics and reflection with an area light.

The glass looks too thick. Or there is an too big "air gap" between the
beer and the glass, if so try a minimal overlapping off beer and glass.

The head looks more like bitter than larger, with larger the bubbles tend
to be much biggers and more uneven, the bubbel membrane is weaker so the
bubbels burst quite quickly leaving a more uneven surface.

And what ingo said about the glass too.
