An update from my previous image, I'm pretty happy with this image as it is,
though I must admit (again) Photoshop did come into play. It had 50 samples
taken in the focal blur and still looked awful so I started cheating
there... comments welcome

This is excelent, but (and there's always a but), the focal blur seems to
be in the wrong place or should I say the camera seems to be in the wrong
place, I feel asthough I want to be able to see the ceiling (because of
the focal blur being where it is), it's asthough the top half of the
image has been cut off with a pair of scisors.
