I tried to model a spiral out of bicubic patches ...
this came out after some tweaking ...
dunno if I should continue with this or bette leave it that simple ...

I thought of a ball on a horn. Or maybe a car(is that a bridge reflected in
the upper right corner? The Golden Gate Bridge?).
