They look nice. The texture is good. They seem a little "dimpled" though.
What are they made of?

Yeah, the texturing is nice, but the dimples on the tops look a little
funny. I like the radiosity you've applied to these. It makes them look
nice.

They look quite poisonous,
if you put several of them on a brown earth heightfield and add some
stones, it could look very nice...

almost as bad as tonyb who suggested mushrooms could not be on there own,
and had to be part of a whole forest scene - like i am going to model a
whole forest - yeah!

electrons.
(in rhino) there a revolve for the cap, with a rounded loft for the stalk,
texture is a gradient, and a bump map for the dimples that didn't have
anything like the effect I was hoping for.

Why not? Don't have the patience? It shouldn't take longer than a week to creat
a portion of a forest... since you'd be zooming on the mushrooms... You could
simply place a picture of a real forest farther than your little scene...
