From an idea seen in a pen and ink cartoon last year.

<whinge> Mouse's backside wrong shape, but Hey! What d'you expect with
handmade blobs after a month? Paws look more like hands, need pointy
bits on end of digits. Supposed to be a mouldy bit of cheese but looks
too artificial. </whinge>

Floor will be dirty, worn, wood planks I hope. Or the easy way out -
concrete!

Mouses will probly be extinct by the time this scene gets finished :-/

Mildly cute. The tail is perfect. Needs more fur.

Ta. Only mildly? :(

A tapered blob sweep switching planes at ground zero.

Agreed, but by the time I reach the texture stage I'm bored. Got as
far as a texture gradient for the head tho' :)

That mouse looks really good, the fur could be improved of course.

I think the paws are allright. I use to have various rodents as pets when i
was young. the hamsters i remember had very hand-like paws, they were pink
though.

Yep. Radiosity and real fur might help.

I like this image a lot, it doesn't have any extremely amazing technical
abilities - which is what counts - its clear and obvious whats going on and
extremely sweet, to be honest apart from some light fur and possibly in a
bit more of a scene it doesn't need any more work IMO. The colours/contrast
works great as you instantly see what is going on.

Congrats to the cartoonist :-)

><whinge> Mouse's backside wrong shape,

You are right. The body looks more like a monkey than a mouse. Try
making the hips wider and the shoulders narrower, the thighs shorter and
the calves longer and the back curved up a bit.

The head and the tail are perfect, though.

>but Hey! What d'you expect with handmade blobs after a month?

I know that feeling. Except that I usually give up on using blobs :-(
