Yes . . . like those chairs . . .
  is the color change at the top of the left chair due to a the light . . .
the top being lit by the candle flame rather than the light cast thru
the red glass ?  Or some other reason ?

Looks pretty good. The only thing I would say is (like Rick) maybe give
the light fade_power and fade_distance.
