That cone looks like it could be used as a fang, claw or tusk. How was
this cone made?

Very interesting! Can you twist it in more complex ways? How do you do this? If
you don't mind?
Looks really smooth!

I made it in Rhino 3D. I am trying to figure out how to make it in an
Isosurface. If anyone knows please tell me it would be a great help.

I did this once for my spiky plant (which, like all my other projects,
seems to have swelled beyond my machine's capacity and be abandoned. I
either need to get a better computer or start thinking small).
y + sqrt((((x-(y^A)/B)*C)^2)+((z*C)^2)) - 1
where A and B affect the sharpness and strength of the curve,
respectively, and C affects the thickness of the cone. (And assuming a
threshold of 0.) Try 3, 2, and 12 to get something resembling your model.

I don't have an isosurface solution, but Daniele Varrazzo's "Striscia" macro can
do this nicely as the image shows. His macro is still available at
http://members.nbci.co/dvarrazzo/epov.htm
I have posted the source on p.t.s-f (it runs under megapov also).

Striscia is quite powerfull, it does uv-mapping without MegaPov. Here's a
flower I'm currently working on.
