Was made as a group project by some friends and I in anticipation of New
Years Eve, December 31st, 1999. Just wanted to share it here. It's still
one of my favorites.
Still one of the most challenging projects I have worked on. Many thanks to
Josh English for help with the layered textures/bottle label solutions!

Very nice!
Some suggestions. The strawbs need a bit more phong and/or reflection. They
don't seem glossy enough. Likewise the label (they tend to be a bit glossy).
The champagne in the glasses seems a little opaque.
Thanks guys!
The cork is entirely modelled out of primatives via CSG. I spent almost a
week just researching what specific kind of cork is usually found in
champagne bottles ;)

The question is.... would it have taken a week if the subejct wasn't
champagne? <grin>
David
LOL! Well.... Bottled water isn't very typical for a new year's
celebration, is it? ;)
