I think it wasn't modeled in POV, that's what... :-)
However if it was then the person is a CSG genius!
Done in Moray perhaps? It's great but with that detail the missing textures is
too much to stand, it has to be textured!

Some objects were created in Rhono3D for example pipes, but most of them
were created in POV(CSG, prism obiect, lathe..). I don't like Moray and I
use it only from time to time and only for textures.

I think such an impressive model deserves less ambient light. That and
textures, a track, and a kewl background. :)
It appears you used radiosity but the shadow doesn't match up with it.
Can't figure it out exactly, it just looks like something is out of
place.

I was thinking bah, easy, but then I noticed everything is nicely fileted... wow!
But Rhino is, of course, cheating. ;)

It's marveless... fantastic well done... georgeous... :o))
I am just a little sorry Rhino was used.. And I think POV still can be
improved with some functions that Rhino apparently have.

Could mean the curves at the connection of things that join. In POV it
would be as if they were blobbed together. Also the rounded edges of
objects, as in superellipsoids

A fillet is added material on an interior corner to make a smooth
transition.
On an outside corner (where you would remove material for the same effect)
they're called simply "rounds".

I didn't know that. I assumed that because AutoCAD and Rhino use the
term 'fillet' for both that it was the correct term.

Very nice modelling, but needs textures and a background
as others have mentioned.

That's what I've been taught in Engineering Graphics, too. Inner and
outer filleting is how they called it.

Beautiful peice of modeling. Do you use a modeler, or is this all hand
coded? Two critsizims:1) The spokes of the wheels are too sharp edged;
2) The bumpers on the front are wrong: One of them should have a flat
face. I forget which one, but on all european locos/cars, the curved
bumper pushes against the flat faced bumper on the next car/engine and
vic-versa.
