That looks good again, the new growing algorithm helps a lot. Do you plan
to publish the code? :-)

It's definitely looking better.. but I wonder, should the leaves go all
the way to the bottom like that?

The shrubs are growing very well ...
But the aliasing(and the sharp contrasts) makes it hard for the
JPG ...
So either try to use AA or render it in a higher resolution and
than apply a mosaik-filter (averaging the color of 2x2 pixels)
before scaling it down to 50% ...
This can make wonders ...

There are trees/shrubs like that, this is the one like the Budlia,
which has does have leaves going all the way down to the bottom of
the trunk, some willows are a bit like this too.

Looks great and obviously it's very fast but you wouldn't want to have many of
these in a scene. What are the possibilities to tweak the bush?

Hi Christoph,
Thanks! I do plan to publish the code when
I get all the variables under control and properly
documented.

Thanks Thomas, it's because I've received critique
and suggestions for improvement that it's getting
better.

Hi Xplo,
The starting leaf region and range are definable anyway, so I could
move it up and down.
Thanks, have a great day!
