Notably superior to even the Mangala 512, this theoretical design layout
of the CaSyl series scanners boasts the following features:
- High-tech, futuristic hologram display
- High-resolution display (scanner dependant)
- Logarithmic distance scale, up to 100,000 km (scanner dependant)
- Variable marker size relevant to object type (DetScan dependant)
- Greater colour categorisation of object type (DetScan dependant)
- Plane of Ecliptic reference guide (scanner dependant)
- Unobtrusive stalks reduce visual clutter
- Lead vector indicator of targetted object (scanner dependant)
- Weapons targetting guide

I'm jumping in a bit late, but wanted to say this looks pretty cool!

Now you just have to put it in air above a holo projector ...
