Folks:

Here is sort of a neat image that I came up with
today. There are a few things wrong with it, but
I thought it was a fairly attractive piece.

Made with MLPOV, rendering time 10 mins. 8 seconds.

That's a beautiful image and you've managed to avoid having the kitchen
probe scene appear anywhere in your scene. That's the part I'm having
trouble with - any suggestions? Are you willing to show the code for this?
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis:

It's in p.b.s-f now.

The code is hopelessly sloppy as usual.

There is nothing mysterious about the image. Just the basic
HDRI thing with the kitchen probe. The probe actually
appears quite visibly to me in the reflection of the
orange orb thing. Otherwise, the camera position
and look_at are such that you don't see the sphere
where the probe is projected.

I hope you share your image with the rest of us when
it's done.
