Folks:

I decided to take MLPov out for a spin like everyone
else, and this is what I came up with.  HDRI is a great
feature.  And it makes it so easy.  Too easy, maybe?
It almost takes the fun out of setting up lighting.

I doubt it's going to be too easy, too soon.. HDRI is not magic.. Faked
reflections can be good in small scenes, with reflective objects and no
walls, but big scenes won't benefit much from them.. But if it really takes
away some work, that's fine with me, because there are so many other things
to tweak.. Even your scene isn't that realistic either, yet.. If this
picture was taken with a real camera, it would look different.. I think the
contrasts are 'off'.. Real cameras don't respond to light like this.. But I
am not sure, if I can explain it further.. Anyway, raytraced scenes are
still looking artificial.
