No wonder your scene was so slow! A glass like that would be easy to make
with CSG or a simple mesh. I only use blob when there is no other way to do
something. Glad it's there, though, because sometimes nothing else will do.

it takes a bit of practice to get the negative pieces correct... Most of
what i know is from HE Day... Where is that kid by the way... =]

I do not think it is because of the blob... They are relatively fast... I wish
that they could be as versatile as iso or that iso was as fast at rendering...
My only complaint about blobs is there is no easy way to make a cubical
component that will integrate with the others without messing with the
strengths allot to compensate for the negative components... =]
