I suspect, although I can't tell for sure since I don't have 3D glasses,
that you're not changing your look_at point between the frames. Instead of
just moving the camera's location, you should *translate* the camera for the
second of the two shots you take, over to one direction or the other just a
bit. Otherwise the image can look incorrect way behind the look_at point.

I may be wrong about the way you did it; sorry if I am.
