The rocks look like someone's blistered skin, a bit too pink and
the they seem to have much more rounded features compared
to the original.
Water, fish and rocks under water look great.

While I see some of the problems others have already mentioned (particularly the
water-line on the rocks), it still looks like an award-winning image to me :)

Thank you, now I can see the splashscreen without hitting Alt-B over
and over (because in tends to disappear in a few seconds).
I think the water should look more blueish - the current splash's
water is more blue, and I liked it that way.
Nevertheless, its a much better splash than the one of Povray 3.1
IMHO.

Jaime,
Please share the source, I've been trying to get a
realistic water with POV 3.5 and have not had
much success.
Thanks,
Harold

Well, I've started again to satisfy everyone (my self included). Now it
is more like the original, but renders on 3.5 and has some of the new
features, like variable reflection and photons. It still has the
underwater tricky fog (I've not managed to get media creating the same
effect). As the image is now 1024x768, I linked here two versions with
different quality:

http://www.ignorancia.org/images/splash95.jpg
I will post the code after some more adjusting...
P.S.: Harold, for a sample of 3.5 water see my last post on this group
and also on p.b.s-f.
