Slowly, but surely... =]

How am i doing...?? Please be
brutally honest... =]

A very simple example but none the
less expressive as to the direction
i am going with her... I am being
fairly reluctant towards making a
head... Suggestions on cartoony hair
would be great... I am after the BIG
hair look of an anime (japan
cartoon) character... Eventually she
will be holding a broad sword (final
fantasy broad) and possibly have
warrior dress in place of the plain
purple bikini... No polka dots
sorry... =] Im swaying towards boots
because i am dreading the making of
feet... Once again criticize away...

First off: very well done.  Clearly of a consistent
look to it.  The only part that appears a little "off"
to me are the breasts... they look a little too like
domes.  Also, the connection between the shoulders and
the upper chest looks to have a sunken area that leads
to a deflated look in the bottom part of the upper
arm.  Do you see it?

But that's just me in brutally honest mode.  Great job!
