I'm moving to new digs shortly. The wall facing the front door
cries out for some hanging ornament, and Mom (who took up quilting
a few years ago) offered to provide one. Here is the best of my
design sketches so far. It consists of three planes.

Guess I'm not alone in thinking they seem anti-stress relief things then.
So you expect your mother to be able to copy those into quilt form? I wish
her lots of luck. :-) Maybe she's very skilled at it though.
