Some of you may remember that my big project last year was designing a
fighter for a Star Trek RPG that I play in. The one that I came up with
looked all right, but took /forever/ to render.

So now I'm reworking it, using blobs. I figure I'm about a quarter to a
third of the way done with this, and at this stage, it looks very
menacing, so I thought I'd share.

I like this a lot, I really wish I knew how model with blobs... I am so
bad at it :-)

Hrm. Nice :) The engine layout is very Trek.

Quite nice model ... looking forward to see it textured ...

It has a hammerhead, so I would say StarWars meets StarTrek meets S:AaB :)

btw: nice modelling, but it needs textures...

Actually, if we were to trace the design lineage accurately, Babylon 5's
Thunderbolt would be closer than Star War's X-Wing... but you're right about
S:AaB; that was one of my inspirations.
