Hi there all you POV-lings !

Now I'm back from some working days at sea.

Thank you to those of you that commented on
my "Kind of SuperEllipsoidal IsoTorii" image.

Here it is again with the New_Penny texture.
What do you think of this change ?

I don't really like it. It looks like faked scanline reflection, and not much
3d look.

maybe it has to do with the environment it is in. i like it though. all of
these shapes and forms that Tor has come up with. very neat.

The texture looks somehow strange, maybe try a plain (blurred) reflective
texture and some background stuff behind the camera instead.

I'm not quite sure what "like faked scanline" means,
but I understand that it's not good.

But I just can't help it:
- I really love shiny metal textures =(

Anyway; thank you for your opinions.

Yes I now think that maybe I overdid the
turbulence in the sky sphere pigment somewhat.

And I'm glad you like my shapes. Thank you !

like the reflection is just bands of color, there's not really a background...
part of it is the coloration though, even just the hue
know what though, i do like it better with the lights dimmed. and listening to
Oxygene. ;)
