Here's the finished guardian pic, plus two more of the patina progress
shots. I didn't upload the guardian one cause I wasn't satisfied with
how it turned out.

Yeah, there's something missing in the guardian pic...perhaps too monotone?
The patina is an interesting effect, but I think it's a bit overdone in this
example. The simplicity of the model and the overabundant scratches make it
look like a roughed-up toy.

I've never been able to rough-up a toy that evenly along the edges.

It seems somehow vaguely lacking, but I don't know why. Still a pretty
good render I think! The figure stands out much better in this version.
