Depends on your angle... if you are closer to the moon the earth looks
smaller...

My initial aim with these renderings was to make an animation of the moon
going
around the earth, to help explain the phases of the moon to my four year
old.
This will probably require several view angles, several animations. Then, I
decided I'd like to - at some point - trace out the approach of the old
Apollo
spacecraft from earth to moon, via the actual orbital transfer parameters
(it
will be good review for me, it's been thirteen years since I had my orbital
mechanics course).
