Yes it's only "pigment { color Red }"
I think it is problems with accuracy that makes the
surface look this strange.
The "average" minor radius of this torus is continuously
adjusted according to the "field strength" of a pattern
(agate) at the circle that lies in it's "middle".
The other pattern is noise3d. And values from a circle
in this pattern "describes" the profile that is being
"turned around".
