How about a stack of magic books. And other titles of course.

They look too new perhaps some heavy use of normals. I'm not convinced about
the way you've done the pages, though it's an interesting idea.

Hmmmmm... too new... that is a major problem with POV... all the sharp
angles and such make everything "look" pristine. Got any textures that do
what you'd consider "old" for these tomes?

The pages are intended to give an old feel, with some usage thrown in...
well thumbed manuscripts that were hand manufactured don't always have all
the pages nice and crisp like modern texts. Even cheap books from early
this century tended to have a ragged edge to them as well.

Must be the gamma on my monitor (some of the lettering is too dark to read).

Looks fine here! I like the offset page alinments, but I think you over did
it. I have several volumes, of the Victorian era and earlier, that have
roughly edged pages. The pages are well aligned, though.

"Necronomicron" - H.P. Lovecraft

But, I prefer Dino D. Laurentis' use of it in "Living Dead II" and "Army of
Darkness." Bruce Campbell was hilarious!
