The sphere is made of 6 faces, like if it was a cube. Each face has 4x4
pieces. Each piece is an intersection of 4 planes and a sphere, and then a
smaller sphere is differenced away from it. All the pieces are mapped with
bump_maps. Some of the pieces are translated a bit away from the center.
That's it, basically.

Wicked cool.  Maybe change the green glow to a more
"techie" blue or cyan glow, but otherwise, don't change it!
It's perfect!
        Is the background an imagemap?
