This still needs a bit of work on the handle, but most of it is there. Can
anyone guess what the molecule is? (it's kind of obvious ;-) )

I recognized the molecule immediately, because I have a similar
molecule.

Very nice model, and I like the stain on the cd... my only niggle
about the picture is the copious amount of blank space at the bottom
of the picture...

That's because someone's drunk it all ;-)
Actually that is one of the next things I am going to add.

Thanks. The CD was simply done by putting it straight on the scanner,
ring-marks and all. I actually put my drinks on the freeserve CD most of the
time (best use for it).

I didn't really notice that when I was building the scene, since I usually
stopped the render half way through. Don't worry though, I do have plans to
put some more stuff in to fill the space - probably a few pages of
mathematics and a calculator.
Speaking of which, does anyone have a model of a Casio fx-9750? All of the
calculator models I remember seing were TIs.

Hey, no formal chem whatsoever! (Okay, two weeks of it, but basically so far
we've just relearned how to use a triple beam balance for the fourth year, gone
over metric conversions for the sixth, and been introduced to nomenclature of
compounds.)
Yeah, they make all kinds of stuff with caffeine.
