Here is one I did a couple of months ago as a poster for my son's room.
Took it to a reprint shop for that.
The ship was made in sPatch and textured in PSP. THe sun is a BIG light
with a mid range ambience and texture.
The warp hole is a cone with several control points created in sPatch and
textured with POV.
I faked the glow around the sun. I tried to use media but couldn't get it
to come out right so I used PSP.
THe sPatch model of the ship is avail via e-mail for those interested.
