Just messing...
A torus wound of 216 (6^3) wires.

Cool. Does your algo prevent intersections?

So what's the inductance/field strength/magnetic flux on this thing? :D

Probably self canceling.

Yeah! I personnally like these kind of numbers:
n
2^n -> bits 2,4,8,..., 512, 1024,...
n^n, -> super powers(?) 1,4,27,256,3125,...
45n, -> angles 45, 90, 180, 360,...
pi^n can be quite interesting too...

I learned this while trying to make psychedelic images... Unfortunately, none
that I made are displayed on my website (in heavy construction...)

Nice, but it looks a bit too homogenous for rusty wires (or is it copper ?), the
ground looks interesting too, but very small, could you do a closeup of it ?

:) It's not a habit of mine, but the logical approach in this case. You should
see why from the image below, showing a cross-section of the wires.

Yes.
The structure is very much like a rope, i.e. a number of strands wound together,
then a number of groups of strands wound together etc.

It's supposed to be copper. I had to do gamma correction, which sort of washed
out the colours.

It's basically a crackle pattern. Doesn't look all that good at a large scale. I
can send you the source if you want.

If it's just a crackle pigment it's not necessary, it somehow looked as if it
were true 3-dimensional stones ...

I was just throwing in words not knowing what they meant. :)

So no possible application for say, a Mega Tesla Coil?

	Actually, I think it would be very similar to that of a single torus...

	Sure, but not more than with a simple torus of large minor radius.

Looks good.
My glass blobs posted earlier, and in February, were a result of
playing with winding a rope around a torus. I started to get a
headache nesting the strands loop to wind strands with strands :)
