Dear Folks,

To open with an old cliche: I haven't posted in awhile, etc., etc....
I've been off in Real World Land and in Game Land (CIV 2, War in the
Pacific) and in IRTC GIP Land
( http://web.tampabay.rr.com/rayshome/irtcgip/index.html ) (which, btw,
could use some fresh contributions...).
Here is the newest version...about 70% modelled...of my old House now
dressed in the Modern/International-style. This is a view of the north
and east rooms, minus north roof. This week I'll add the west room and
begin interior work throughout: walls, furniture, lights, kitchen, etc.
I wouldn't mind some of you offering INCs for some of this interior
work; you'll be listed as sub-contractors in the credits.
In November (?) I should be ready to post a final-draft first complete
version.

Render Long and Prosper,
                         Brendan

Maybe also because of the absence of a roof, but surely because of the
scale of the brick texture, the house look tiny. Think you have to put
more bricks in the chimney like things.

I agree with Ingo on the scale. That brick texture makes the whole house look
small, but I like the layout of the place. Are you going to do more with the
interior?

Like others have said about the bricks and brick texture, plus
the chimneys don't have a hole in the top. It could do with
some stairs from outside leading up to the roof area.

and others wrote about scaling and interiors etc

This is a design under revision, starting with a simple blocked out
model and converting it to a "wire-frame" then applying wall panels,
window dressing, decorative touches, landscaping, etc as the model
evolves.

I've fixed the brick scale and started blocking-out the interior layout.
The entryhall/atrium to feature a pool or fountain, a metal sculpture
(what would a POV scene be without some shiny sphere variant?),
potted plants. The eastern wing is the living room, dining area, home
office space. The west side is the kitchen. Upstairs bed and bath and
closets.

Thanx for you help!
