Like the title, the image seems to be a black screen with some few white
spots in it.

appears very very black on my winbox, had to seriously tweak the gamma
before i could see anything!

well, Hmmm. it IS supposed to be pretty dark, but I can at least make out
the ships!.... Ok, I'll MOVE THE SUN and render it again.

Well, Bryan, your image looks like it has good gamma settings to me. Mick's
usually seems a bit high, gamma-wise, but your's looks good here. I have an
older system with the monitor far on the road to its demise, and on it you
cannot see the ships very well.

I would like to know you method for ship placement. Seems uniform to me! I
like it.

The form of these fighters looks good ( reminds me of a computer game ),
but they are so tightly packed (in a more or less random way ) that I
think this fleet will have quite some casualties when it simply starts
moving.

It looks good on my Mac, but it's too dark on my Windows box. The
fighters all look a little flat, though, which way is the sun?
